About Us

Our approach is unlike anything you’ll find on the internet, because there are important questions to be addressed that no one seems be asking:

  • What does the “T” stand for in ACT? How about the SAT? The GMAT?
  • Who’s writing all these test questions? What degrees do these individuals hold?
  • Why are these companies hiring Psychometricians? Who or what in the heck is that?!
  • Why do I feel inspired and/or defeated when taking a standardized test? Do my feelings even matter?

The above questions are important because they reveal a great deal of planning and cunning, set in motion by the companies and test writers who design these testing “structures.”

It’s also very likely you haven’t any idea whom you’re dealing with in the first place…and it’s OK.

We at ABCD Prep want you to be an informed test-taker and consumer. We want you to know whom you’re dealing with. And once you’re armed with this knowledge, score increases tend to follow.

Now, we often have clients approach us after having been told, “You son can’t do any better on his SAT” or “This is the best score your daughter will ever earn.” They’ve dealt with teachers or tutors who may be well-versed in a certain subject area (Math, Reading Comprehension, Biology, e.g.) but do not understand the traps and pitfalls engineered into every standardized test.

What’s worse is those aforementioned educators don’t bother to address what we know: these tests are designed to play upon your emotions. Therefore, how you FEEL about an ACT is just as important as what’s IN an administered ACT. How you FEEL about the GRE is just an important as what’s IN the GRE.

And so forth.

We are here to breathe new life into an otherwise daunting affair. And while an earned score is just one component of a larger college or grad school application, we want this piece of your application to shine as brightly as possible.
